Lloyd, representing the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire, very kindly presented MINIsOnTop with a plaque, showing how everyone’s charity efforts make [...]]]> With over $14,000 raised for charity, MINIsOnTop had some giving to do, which happened in a presentation ceremony this past weekend:

Lloyd, representing the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire, very kindly presented MINIsOnTop with a plaque, showing how everyone’s charity efforts make a real benefit, in this case sending Meghan to Disney!

New Country MINI generously supported the Sundaes on Friday event both [...]]]> MINIsOnTop 2008 is completed … a total of 215 raffle tickets for the Herb Chambers donated MINI Cooper Clubman lease were sold, and at the drawing at the base of Mount Washington, the winner was Jocelyn Dailey of Jersey City, NJ … congratulations

New Country MINI generously supported the Sundaes on Friday event both with ice cream sundaes, and a $6.288 donation for each of the sundae’ers, raising more then $1,000 for the MINIsOnTop 2008 charities of Make-A-Wish of New Hampshire, and the Mount Washinton Observatory.

A superb Red Sox package raised $900 in a rapid auction, and sales of $1 “door prize” tickets and other merchandise has brought the total raised for charities to an estimated $10,000 (final numbers in the next week)

- The folks at MC2 Magazine have donated several T-shirts and subscriptions to our very favorite magazine.

- I may be using all of my raffle tickets this year for a chance at Theo’s signed photo of Rauno Aaltonen.

- Bring your spoons and your frozen treat addictions! We all be thanking New Country MINI for their support of the Friday night ice cream social and donation of $6.288 to Make A Wish for every person that attends the event that night.

- And MINI of Peabody won’t be letting us go home early on Saturday night either.

These and previous month’s donations push the value of our efforts for Make-A-Wish well above the $3000 mark.

April saw a number of very generous donations from both new and old friends of MoT.

- The law firm of Hamilton Brook has donated two luxury box tickets to see the Red Sox against the California Angels on July 30. Food, beverages, and a VIP tour of Fenway included.

A second successful month for MoT’s efforts to help Make-A-Wish Foundation. Please join me in thanking a few repeat supporters from years past who are again already displaying their generosity in 2008.

- Pete Basiellere has again offered three annual memberships to the Mount Washington Observatory, in support of their weather research efforts on top of the “rock pile”. Play On Pete!

-Doug and Donna at American MINI Mates have already sent us several MINI-themed t-shirts and sweatshirts — all the way from Colorado!

-Asthetic Creations will be us with several gift certificates. Their MINI roof graphics are well known for creativity and high quality.

-Detailers Paradise has offered one of their Prima Car Care Kits. Make sure you know which side is the shiny side on that MINI!

-Doug Whalen at Whalen Shift Machine will be sending us two of his custom shift knobs — get that quick, smooth, and snappy feeling when you shift, without the hassle of installing a short shift kit.
