Thank you!

MINIs on Top 2013 may be over but it will certainly not be forgotten any time soon.  Thank you to everybody who made it such an excellent weekend:  Greasy’s Garage, Lyon-Waugh (aka MINI of Peabody & MINI of Bedford), and MINI Eastern Region for hosting terrific parties where we could spend time with old friends and meet new ones; Libby and the Cape Cod MINI crew for another entertaining and educational game of trivia; the MINI dealerships, companies, and individuals who donated hundreds of terrific raffle items; all of our volunteers – from those who were involved from the start to those who stepped up onsite and helped out in big ways; the friendly and helpful staff at the Attitash Grand Summit, Mt. Washington Auto Road, and Loon Mountain;  and most of all, the 600+ MINI enthusiasts who were incredibly kind and appreciative throughout the weekend and reminded us why we work so hard to put this event together.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I know lots of comments and pictures are being posted on Facebook, but if you have any thoughts you’d like to share here, please feel free.

Have a great summer.  Happy motoring.

In addition to a gigantic THANK YOU to all the people and organizations listed above, I’d like to shout out a big THANK YOU to the MINI enthusiasts who stopped by the “Ducks for Hearts” boot at Loon on Saturday morning. Your generous contributions allowed us to donate $267 to the American Heart Association in memory of Ed “MAXAMINI” Smith. Here’s a pointer to their donation page for Ed:
    “MAXAMINI Memorial Link”

Thanks also to YellowMiniNY for the use of Quack Quack Jack and Quack Quack Jill.

Thank you Sara, Richard and all the volunteers who did such an amazing job again this year!!!
Has anyone decided to take over for next year? I really do hope so!
I can’t imagine not being part of such a wonderful event anymore.
Maybe you can up the reg fee a few dollars and pay who-ever is in charge?
    Just a thought!

Honestly, I did not know what to expect for my first MINI adventure to Mt. Washington. I found it to be totally amazing. I have never met a nicer group of people who have one thing in common..a silly looking little car that is loved by their owner. I volunteered at the sale tent on Saturday morning, and found everyone who came to the tent very friendly. I certainly hope that there is another MoT. I would volunteer again at the sales tent for a chance to meet more MINI fans. thanks again for a wonderful adventure!!!!

Thank you Sara, Richard and all the super volunteers. This was our first mini on top and we are hoping that there will be one next year and many years thereafter. It was so much fun meeting all the mini owners. What a great group, they are!

See you all on the roads.
