Thanks to our generous supporters

While MINIs on Top is not a fundraising event – fun is our goal! – we’ve donated nearly $85,000 in event proceeds to charities over the last ten years.  Lots of those proceeds are from the sale of door prize tickets which can be purchased at the event for $1 each.  I’d like to take a moment to thank the individuals and companies who have generously donated items so far this year:

And this is just the beginning! As usual, the items will be bundled up into especially-appealing packages just before the event so we’re not stuck under the tent calling raffle numbers all night.  Keep an eye on this site for more items you may want to get your hands on.

I’d also like to thank Michael and Inge Drozd for kindly stepping up to run this portion of the 2013 event.  It is a big job and without them it may not have happened this year.  Please be sure to thank them for their efforts when you see them in June.

This will be our seventh MOT, and every year, I’m amazed at the generosity of supporters, and the volunteers. Between sponsoring the events, donating for the raffle, and the gazillion other contributions that are made, the amount of support that this community delivers is astounding. I’m proud to be a member of this community, and look forward to finally winning the Bentley Service manual this year… (yes, I’m aware that if I just saved my money, I would have enough by now to win one outright, but if wouldn’t have been nearly half as fun or exciting)

I work at Fusion and noticed we are supplying the antenna balls for the event! Very cool!

  • Hi, Megan. We’ve gotten our antenna balls and embroidered hats from Fusion for at least the last three years. Our contacts there are such a pleasure to work with. Are you coming to MOT this year?

Speaking of antenna balls, are you giving them to us at MOT? My package didn’t have one. :(
