Volunteer Spotlight: Brian Lalor

What a maroon!

Name Brian Lalor
MoT Participant Since 2007
I first heard about MoT by reading about it on Ian and Josh’s websites, long before I ever attended
The first person I met at MoT was Jason Ross. He wouldn’t let me into the Loon lot without washing my car, first!
My responsibilities at MoT this year are envelope stuffer, aerial photographer, bit wrangler, cabana boy to Sarah
I volunteer at MoT because Sarah makes me. ow! I mean, because it’s so much fun!
Car Stats (Year/Model/Colors/Name) ’06 Cooper S – Chili Red & Black – Scrat
Car Modifications/Distinguishing Features Stuff to go around corners faster, stuff to stop faster, stripes to make it look faster. Also dirt. Lots of dirt.
Best thing I’ve done in my MINI Month-long coast-to-coast roadtrip with my new bride
Most unusual thing I’ve done in my MINI Raced on the Bonneville Salt Flats (…where I was subsequently beaten by my new bride)
Favorite Motoring Road Road America
Favorite Driving Song One Fine Day by The Offspring, or pretty much anything fast and loud
Driving in my MINI makes me feel like this shouldn’t be legal
Oh! And One More Thing Slow is smooth, smooth is fast
